Bolinao, Pangasinan

Bolinao, Pangasinan is rising as the next tourism spot in the North.
It has a white sand beach, a lighthouse, caves, falls, and breathtaking scenery.

Join me as I explore in Bolinao, Pangasinan!

How to get there

Option # 1 - From Manila, bus ride either to Lingayen or Dagupan, then another bus ride to Bolinao

Option # 2 - From Dau or Urdaneta, bus ride to Dagupan or Bolinao

Option # 3 - via Sta. Cruz or Iba, Zambales, bus ride to Alaminos, then bus ride to Bolinao

Undoubtedtly, the number one tourist spot in Bolinao is Cape Bolinao Lighthouse.

From Dagupan, I boarded a bus en route to Bolinao. Travel time is 2.5 hours. Only mini-buses service the route (either Bolinao Express or Mhel-Ben).

From the town of Bolinao, you can hire a tricycle ride to the lighthouse for only P250.00

I hired Mr. Ryan Teodoro (0939-134-0913) inclusive of side trips to Cindy's Cave, Enchanted Cave and Patar Beach. He is very accommodating and courteous.

Travel time from the town to the lighthouse is less than an hour.

The next stop after the lighthouse - Patar white sand beach!

Patar Beach is the best spot white sand beach in Pangasinan!

After staying for an hour at the beach, we went to Cindy's Cave. It has a swimming pool inside the cave. Entrance fee - P50.00 only

But the best cave is the Enchanted Cave. It is actually a resort but the main attraction is swimming pool inside the cave.

Entrance - P90.00
Swimming - P120.00

Parking fees
Bus - P40.00
Car - P30.00
Tricycle - P20.00
Single motorcycle - P15.00

Cottage - P500.00

  1. Hi! Bolinao has been our yearly trip when I was a kid since my once lived there. After, literally, 10 years i'm coming back and I know there has been a lot of changes. Thanks for sharing your Bolinao experience and travel info. Looking forward to seeing the places on your blog.
