Don Salvador Benedicto and La Vista Route, Negros Occidental
from the internet
Your visit to Negros will not be complete unless you pass, witness, or travel along the Don Salvador and La Vista route in Negros Occidental.
I went to a friend in Silay City and I used the Don Salvador route going to Bacolod. Actually, there are 3 routes going to Bacolod, namely: Don Salvador, Canlaon and Escalante. The longest route is Canlaon. The best route is Don Salvador!
The Don Salvador route reminded me of Baguio and Sagada. The landscapes and mountains are breathtaking!
There are also rice terraces along the route and you will be amazed at your seat.
The best part of it is that it has the tallest falls in Negros and the trek to the falls is good for 30 - 45 minutes. The name of the falls is Malatan-og Falls.
You can also buy plants along the road as if you are in Baguio or Tagaytay. Try to visit also the La Vista Highlands!
