Last October 2012, I had a joyride using my motorbike in Batangas.
I went to Talisay, Batangas and Mataas na Kahoy.
My friends and I were planning an outing and I was given the tasked to see and decide where we are supposed to be going.
There were only two possible choices, namely: Balai Isabel (Talisay) and La Virginia (Mataas na Kahoy.
So, starting from Tanauan City, I went first to Talisay, Batangas.
I drove for 45 minutes and I reached Talisay. But before going to Balai Isabel.
I decided to go first to Taal Crater Lake.
I hired the boat and paid P1,700.00 for the tour.
I rented the entire boat and the boat ride was 15-20 minutes only.
I arrived at the jump-off point. From there, the trek is good for 40-50 minutes.
But I did not trek that day. I decided to have a horseback ride and paid P500.00.
The ride is approximately 20-30 minutes only. It was raining that day.
After 25 minutes, we reached the Taal Crater Lake.
I was never given the opportunity to bring out my dslr. It was still raining and I used instead my olympus waterproof camera.

Aside from sightseeing and nature photography, one can tee off at the top of the crater.
After 30 minutes, we went back to the berthing point. Boarded the boat and went back to the other side of the lake.
I proceeded to my destination.

It's a good thing the management of Balai Isabel allows people to view (ocular) the resort for free.
I went around the resort.
They have 2-3 big pools aside from the lake itself.
This is the Taal Lake.
I extended my gratitude for the tour and I went to second destination.
Along the way, I passed by the Mabine Shrine in Talaga, Tanauan City, Batangas. And I took the opportunity to go inside the shrine.

The house of Mabini was a nipa hut. There is no entrance fee.
After 15 minutes, I proceeded to my last destination.
From Talisay, Batangas to Mataas na Kahoy, the motorcyle ride was 90 minutes
